- Mildred "Fay" Allen of Ste. Genevieve passed away on Friday, May 21, 2010, at the age of 77 years, 8 months and 12 days. She was born on September 9, 1932, at Sainte Genevieve County, daughter of the late Collin and Millie (Hunt) Hardy.

On May 12, 1950, she and her husband, the Rev. Lawrence "Delbert" Allen, were united in marriage. They recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. Much of her adult life was spent assisting her husband at various area churches where he pastored. She served in a large variety of roles in her church life. She was a Godly woman and Christ was paramount in her life.
In her spare time she enjoyed trout fishing, flower gardening, and most of all spending time with her children and grandchildren.
